No Panic Politics™ is a non-partisan news analysis platform. Every story. Three perspectives. One American View grounded in the founding documents. No spin. You read the facts — you decide what to think.
The goal was people.
Sixty years of friendship. Family dinners that used to be easy. Neighbors who used to wave. Brothers who used to call.
Politics didn't change who those people are. It just put noise between them.
"No Panic Politics™ is a place to put all the noise in one room — every side, every argument, every talking point — and let the Constitution sort it out. So you can walk away from the screen and back to the people you love."
— JP, Founder · Portland, Oregon
Not to win the argument. To get past it.
Every story on this site is told from three perspectives — far left, center, and far right — reported faithfully, without filtering, without softening. You deserve to see what each side is actually saying. Then the Constitution steps in as the only referee that matters.
Every opinion on this site is treated with equal respect — whether it comes from the far left, the far right, or anywhere in between. We report it all. We filter nothing.
But opinions are not facts. And no political opinion — no matter how passionately held, no matter how extreme — overrides the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. That document belongs to all of us. It is the common ground.
If you have a friend on the other side of the aisle — someone you love, someone you've lost ground with over the last few years — this site is for both of you.
Read the same story. See all three perspectives. Argue if you want to — that's healthy. But start from the same facts. That's all this is.
"One source. All sides. The Constitution decides."
Here are the facts. You decide.
Turn on the news. Pick a channel. You will get one version of reality. Switch to a different channel. You will get a completely different version. Both will tell you they are right. Both will tell you the other side is lying. And somewhere in the middle — the actual story — gets lost.
That is the problem No Panic Politics™ was built to solve.
We take the top story of the day and show you what the left is reporting, what the right is reporting, and what the center is reporting — side by side, in plain English, with a straight-faced measure of how much spin is in the room. Then we add one more voice: the founding documents. What do the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence actually say about this? That is your American View.
Every story is told from three angles — Democrat, Independent, and Republican. Not summaries of what each side might say. Actual reporting from actual outlets on each side. You see all three. You decide what to think.
Every perspective gets a score from 0 to 4 based on four criteria: factual accuracy, selective framing, rhetorical inflation, and source integrity. The same rubric. Applied equally. Left and right held to identical standards.
Below the three columns, we add one more voice — grounded in the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence. Not our opinion. The founding documents. What do they actually say about this? Here are the facts. You decide.
Our database includes 230 hand-curated news outlets — newspapers, broadcast networks, digital publications, wire services, and political podcasts. Real outlets that Americans actually read. No anonymous blogs. No fringe sites. Classified by lean using Ad Fontes Media's published methodology.
I built this because politics was ruining dinner. Not just my dinner — everybody's dinner. Families not talking. Friends unfollowing each other. Marriages under strain. All because of a news cycle designed to keep you angry.
I am 67 years old. I grew up in Portland, Oregon. I have worked in agriculture, food processing, and industrial markets my whole career. I have watched this country go from Walter Cronkite to cable news to social media — and I have watched the noise get louder every decade.
I am not a journalist. I am not a politician. I am a 67-year-old American who wants this country to still be worth living in — where people can disagree without hating each other.
No Panic Politics™ is my answer to the noise. One source. All sides. The Constitution decides.
Most Americans have never read the founding documents. We think you should. They are shorter than you think — and more powerful than any cable news segment.
